CCLI (Cultural Competence Learning Institute)

CCLI–or the Cultural Competence Learning Institute–helped museums of all types and sizes activate their efforts around diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Made possible through funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, CCLI was a partnership among Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, the Association of Children’s Museums, Garibay Group, and ASTC from 2013 to 2025.

CCLI built institutional capacity for museums to embrace organizational change and meaningfully connect with new and diverse audiences. Visit the CCLI website to find out more about the project’s history, impact, and resources.
